Stranger Things

Season 1 & 2 – Netflix

Back on our screens for a second series October 27th, Stranger Things return with another love letter to the ‘80s classics that captivated a generation.

Set in 1938 Indiana, Season 1 investigated the mystery surrounding a young boy who vanished into thin air, with friends, family and local police drawn into an extraordinary
mystery involving top-secret government experiments in the search for answers.

Season 2 explores the secrets of Hawkins Lab and the arrival of a bigger, sinister entity that still threatens those who survived.

Season 1 – Netflix

The Byrdes and their teenage kids, Charlotte and Jonah, are, for all intents and purposes, an ordinary family with ordinary lives. Except for the job of Marty, a Chicago financial advisor who also serves as the top money launderer for the second largest drug cartel in Mexico.

When things go awry, Marty must uproot his family from the skyscrapers of Chicago and relocate to the lazy lake region of the Missouri Ozarks.

It’s a dark, nail biting thriller of a good guy suffering the consequences of a few bad decisions.

Season 1 & 2 – Amazon

A possessed minister teams up with his ex and a hard-drinking Irish vampire in search of God. Sound a little out there?

Throw in some exploding pastors, gun-toting angels, fantastic fight scenes, pop-culture zingers and you’re only halfway to fully understanding this genre-bending TV sensation.

An adaptation of a comic-book series of the same name, creator Seth Rogan breaks all the rules to bring a hilariously gruesome tale of just three unusual friends trying to find their creator.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia

Season 1-12 – Netflix

Five friends with big egos and slightly arrogant attitude are the proprietors of an Irish bar in Philadelphia. What’s the worse that could happen?

Still going strong since 2005, many people have given It’s Always Sunny a chance and have become addicted to its hilariously twisted comedy (count us in that number).

Unlike contemporary sitcoms, there is never a glimmer of predictability or uninspiring laughing track. If you’re looking for a melting-pot of Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm and British Office style of comedy, with a pinch of Danny DeVito thrown in for good measure, come take a trip to Paddy’s Pub.

Season 1 – Amazon

Once a powerful lawyer, Billy McBride is now burned out and washed up, spending more time in a bar than a courtroom.

When he reluctantly agrees to pursue a wrongful death lawsuit against the biggest client of Cooperman & McBride, the massive law firm he helped create, Billy and his ragtag team uncover a vast and deadly conspiracy, pitting them all in a life or death trial against the ultimate Goliath.
